Kent State Mathematics Education will be offering free course specific webinars for Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 teachers on the dates and times indicated below. These webinars will provide teachers with a time and space to discuss course-specific issues and ideas with colleagues from other schools and districts and Kent State mathematics education faculty. Webinars will be conducted through Google Hangout (you will need Internet and a microphone).

I visited several districts in southeast Ohio between 9/26 and 9/28. I was able to meet with some very dedicated math teachers, intervention specialist, and their administrators. My thanks go out to everyone who took the time to meet with me at Warren Local Schools, Meadowbrook High School, Belpre City Schools, and Fort Fyre High School.
