How can math teachers and math intervention specialists connect with one another to discuss and share problems, tasks, lessons, assessments, and other issues related to teaching and learning mathematics? These connections could be within- and across-districts. Do forums, blogs, Google Hangout or Skype meetings, bulletin boards or some other form(s) of technology work best?
If you would like to begin a discussion about a particular topic related to teaching and learning mathematics, please feel free to do so. Topics can include: the use of technology (Desmos, Chromebooks, GeoGebra, etc.), mathematical content (fractions, quadratic equations, geometric transformations, etc.), mathematical practices (reason abstractly and quantitatively, model with mathematics, etc.), assessments, differentiated instruction, good math-related books (such as The End of Average: How We Succeed in a World That Values Sameness by Todd Rose), whatever you would like.
